KEY MESSAGES - as of June 11, 2009

These key messages have been developed to inform our stakeholders about how we are responding to the pandemic alert.

1.     We are taking precautions to prevent the spread of the H1N1 virus.

·        All staff and visitors to our main office or satellite locations are required to use hand sanitizer or wash their hands on entering.

·        Persons who do not comply with this request will be asked to leave.

·        A mobile hand sanitizing kit will be taken by staff to other locations used to deliver service.

2.     Services will continue uninterrupted at present as long as we can ensure that these precautions are taken.

3.     We will monitor the number of cases of febrile respiratory illness (FRI) reported to us among staff and service users.

4.     Appointments will be re-scheduled for any clients who have symptoms of febrile respiratory illness.
