COURT COMMUNITY SUPPORT WORKER

Full-Time Contract Position

CMHA, Brant County Branch requires a Court Community Support Worker to provide mental health assessment and case management for adults with mental illness in conflict with the law. Duties include assessment, supportive counselling, linkage and referral, medication monitoring, symptom management, crisis prevention and liaison with criminal justice system. Qualifications: post-secondary education in social work, 2-3 years related mental health experience, use of a vehicle and commitment to psychosocial rehabilitation and recovery principles.
